The contest was carried out on
well site Tk805 of the Third Oil Production Plant. The members of Xinjiang
Workover Team, under the leadership and direction of Mr. Jia Zhi, the team
lead, have demonstrated outstanding performance in cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR), air respirator wearing, well control skills, etc. and
accomplished competitive scores, winning honors for the Second Oil Production
Plant of Northwest Oilfield and for the company. This is the second
award-wining event since 2013 when the Workover Team was conferred with the
Second Class Award of Northwest Bureau project construction, which fully
affirms the Workover Team’s working spirits of daring to work hard and act,
adhering to stringent requirements and always striving to be the best, despite
the unfavorable aspects such as the short period of team establishment and the
team being young.
It is known that
nearly one hundred workover teams of many petroleum companies from across the
country are active in Northwest Oilfield. This contest is held annually and
serves as an instrument of Northwest Oilfield to enhance well control training
and skills exercise, upgrade the level of well control management in an
all-round way and ensure well control safety in Northwest Oilfield, with the
objectives to continuously elevate well control awareness of the operatives and
to promote the emergency response readiness and the emergency handling ability
of the employees.
