The first cementing sliding sleeve with unlimited stages was successfully installed in place in Daniudi area

As it was the first time
for North China Petroleum Bureau of Sinopec to apply the cementing
sliding sleeve featuring unlimited stages, Party A attached high importance to
its operation, and the leaders of SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum
Engineering resided at the well site for guidance. It was reported that the barefoot
interval of DPH-137 well was 3411m length, which posed great construction challenges.
Moreover, the cold weather in Daniudi area in winter made the operation more
difficult. Despite the biting wind and coldness, the well completion team of
our Company held high sense of responsibility and satisfactorily completed operations
for the well for five days and nights by carefully controlling the installation
sequence of the sleeve and tools, ensuring smooth installation and strictly performing
anti-freezing work for grouted pipeline. The success made a good start for 2015
work for the technical department of well completion.
