Scope of Application

This technology is applicable to fracturing of low permeability oil and gas reservoirs and shale oil and gas. 

Principles

Resistance-reducing water is also called slickwater, which is a fracturing fluid technology produced by adding to water a polymer and some additives such as bactericide, surfactant and scale inhibitor. it can greatly reduce the friction of fracturing liquid system. 

Technical Indicators and Performance Features 

It can reduce the resistance effectively due to its low viscosity, low cost, no residual and low pollution. The friction can be reduced by more than 60-70% compared to clear water.

Field Applications

Since 2011, this system has been applied to 65 wells/times in Zhongyuan Oilfield and Changqing Oilfield; .its esistance-reducing efficiency reached to 71% compared with fresh water and met the requirements of field process.
