Scope of Application

The technology is suitable for plugging various reservoirs, casing leakage and casing channeling in oil/gas/water wells.

Principles

The front networking assistant in the composite plugging technology can dehydrate in the flow state and gelatinize and solidify to make the subsequent sealing material intensively accumulate at the leak position. The induration with high compressive strength and long term of validity is formed through the coordination reaction of organic and inorganic materials under the down-hole temperature and pressure conditions.

1）  Good suspension property without settling; 

2）Good flowability, easy to be pumped in;

3）Temperature resistance (60-150) °C;

4）Salt resistance (≤350000mg/L);

5）High strength (≥25Mpa);

6）Minimum inflation after curing, good cementing properties with the stratum, high plugging rate and long term of validity. 

Field Applications

Since 2006, the technique has been applied to blocking operation for 355 wells at Zhongyuan Oilfield, Inner Mongolia Oilfield, and Changqing Oilfield since 2006 with process success ratio over 90%, input-output ratio over 1:3 and good plugging effects .
