Scope of Application

It is mainly used in the multi-layer acidification of oil wells, especially the oil well acidification with leakage zone. It can improve the distribution uniformity of acid solution and enhance the acidizing effect.

Principles

The temporary plugging agent first enters the interval with strong absorption. As the acid fluid fills in, the dominant seepage throat in the formation near the well is temporarily plugged, forcing the acid fluid injected later flows to other intervals, restoring or increasing the effective seepage of the formation, while improving cut plane and relieving the conflict between intervals. During acid solution flowback, the back flush effect of formation fluid can remove part of the acid-soluble particle plugging. As the formation temperature rises, so does the pH value, and the temporary plugging agent is gradually dissolved and the seepage rate of the temporary plugged formation can be well restored.

Performance Features 

It is featured with good dispersibility, high solution rate, low cost and high plugging strength; it can dissolve quickly after use without contaminating reservoir stratum. 

Field Applications 

Since 2007, it has been applied for 181 wells/times in the field, showing good effect of production stimulation.
