In the acidizing treatment of oil gas and water well, the adding of iron ion stabilizer can effectively complex the free iron ions through chelation and reducing action, forming stable iron complex ions, so the iron ions in the acid solution will be discharged to the ground along with the reacted acid, while inhibiting the precipitation of iron ions, avoiding secondary precipitation.

Field Applications

It has been applied for 455 wells/times in Zhongyuan Oilfield and Puguang Gasfield, field application shows that the additive can effectively solve the precipitation of iron ions during acidification, avoid secondary precipitation, effectively prevent the secondary damage of acidification to the stratum while improving the acidizing effect of oil/gas/water well.
