Displacement and Profile Control Agent YL-05 of High-temperature Salt-resistant Gel Particle

Scope of Application

It applies to deep profile control and displacement control of water injection well of high temperature (≤ 115°C) and high salinity (mineralization degree ≤ 20×104mg/L), as well as temporary plugging of oil well.

Principles

Displacement and profile control agent YL-05 of high-temperature salt-resistant gel particle is a specially treated high-molecular polymer, which is polymerized and crosslinked by heat- and salt-resistant monomer and active heat-resistant material etc. It can effectively plug the highly permeable layer in water injection well by means of deformation and water absorption; it can also form movable driving zone and expand water-driven swept area.

Performance Features

1.Adjustable particle diameter can meet the needs of various stratums in terms of stratum temporary-plugging, profile control and displacement control.

2.Expansion times: 3-15, which can be selected according to actual conditions of service well.

3.Expansion speed: adjustable between 180 min to 7200 min.

Field Applications

Since 2005, this technique has been widely used in Zhongyuan Oilfield, Changqing Oilfield and Yanchang Oilfield etc. with accumulated 458 wells/times implementations and 200-700t of average increased production of single well, creating good economic benefit.
