Recently, our company received a letter of commendation from Sinopec Huadong Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd. The directional well team represented by Xiang Benfu, Ning Zheyu, Chen Fei, Zhang Yahua, and Zhao Bin was praised for their outstanding performance in well JY-xxx. In the letter, Party A pointed out that in the construction of Well JY-xxx, our directional well team was rushed by Party A, overcoming difficulties, making decisive decisions, solid technology, and in place of service, and successfully completed the high overall angle change rate required for drilling construction. Degree and geosteering requirements on GAMMA data density and quality have effectively improved service quality while drilling and reduced drilling risk. The directional well team received an emergency call from the customer on the evening of April 22, and the JY-XXX well was undergoing a three-hole 8-1/2” wellbore construction operation. Due to the insufficient slope of the rotation-oriented tool of the foreign partner of Party A and the unstabitily work. In order to be stable, we need to organize personnel and tools as soon as possible to carry out remedial work on the well. After receiving the call, the director of the directional well team communicated with the tool provider overnight to organize the tools and personnel to jointly prepare and complete the construction plan, overcoming difficulties. After more than ten days of hard work, they finally landed smoothly and successfully completed construction tasks to help Party A avoid a single well-filling incident.
