The First Pulse Sand Fracturing Well in A region of northern China Was Completed Successfully
On September 21, the open hole 11th section
of Horizontal Well DPH-X first built by A region of northern China with the technology of pulse plunger sanding fracturing was successfully
completed. The main fracturing construction was begun at 20:20 pm. During
construction, technicians from the Fracturing Technology Department paid close attention to the subtle changes in the
fracturing curve and made appropriate decisions for the construction work. The
fracturing construction of the 11th section was successfully
completed at 1:20 on September 21, taking 30 hours, with the total sanding
amount of 343m3, total fiber amount of 1650Kg, and total fluid
volume of 3500m3. The entire construction process ran smoothly and
was conducted basically according to the design scheme.
As the
first well built with the technology of pulse plunger sanding fracturing in the
working area in North Ordos, Well DPH-X was expected to make breakthrough in
the output through this fracturing construction. Now, the well is opened for
post-fracturing gushing. By September 21, at 10:00 am, it had released a fluid
volume of 280m3. Later, we will follow closely the post-fracturing
effects.
Well DPH-X was a horizontal well deployed in No. 66
Well Area in Daniu Gas Field in Ordos. The target stratum was the first section
of lower Shihezi Formation. In order to improve the development effect of low
permeability reservoir, the well was renovated with the technology of pulse
plunger sanding fracturing. Discontinuous sanding profile was formed in
artificial fractures to reduce flow resistance, to improve fracture
conductivity, and to increase the effective fracture length; at the same time,
in order to prevent post-fracturing sand spill, the technology of sanding with
accompanied fiber was adopted in the construction process.
