        The third coiled tubing vehicle which is newly devoted by the company is pull type heavy truck. The distance between wheels is 3.9m; the length of the truck is 16.5m; the height is 4.61m; and the total weight is 60 ton. Because of wide wheel distance, long truck body and big radius of turning circle, it’s difficult to swerve in the big gradient and sharp turning section, which not only slow down the work efficiency of the steering operation, but also increase the abrasion of parts of the wheels and steering system; and more unsafe factors are existed as well when taking a sudden turn. In order to solve this problem, the relevant technicists of the equipment management department and the coiled tubing service center creatively added a beam on the truck tail which can bear 80 ton load and installed a 70 ton hydraulic cylinder in the middle of the bearing beam through serious study and discussion and referring to relevant technical data. To realize compelled radial direction steering on the tail and improve the steering capability in the sharp turning section. The hydraulic cylinder is installed on the support by axis pin when the truck is normally driven to prevent hydraulic cylinder damage from impact. When the truck tail needs to steer, it will be operated to remove the axis pin connected to the support.
 
 
        It indicates through actual verification in Chongqing Peilin rock operating area that: the transforming structure is simple with small investment, and it’s easy to implement and convenient to use. It effectively changed the defect of the current bearing wheel of semitrailer which can only bear the weight but move on the ground, reduced sliding friction between wheel and ground, so as to improve the service life of the wheel and steering system. In addition, the radial displacement of the trailer tail can be adjusted at will according to actual needs, the steering capability of the whole truck is tremendously improved, which shorten operation steering time and create better condition for fast and efficient production of the company.
