At 16:50 on Feb. 18^th, the pyroshale 12-4HF gas well blowout got successful. The flame height reached 12 meters, gaining high-yielding industrial gas.

To ensure a smooth fracture testing construction, the Project Department well organized the participating units such as CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Co. Ltd., Yilong Hengye Oil Engineering Technical Co. Ltd. and Oil Production Research Institute to gather together to optimize the conceptual design, to scientifically adjust construction parameters, to enhance field technical guidance and guarantee water supply and materials as much as possible. With these efforts, the construction was successfully accomplished, creating 6 records for domestic shale gas wells: the horizontal segment reached the longest 2100 meters; the construction sections amounted to the largest number of 26; the liquid adding quantity accumulated to the largest quantity of 46,000 thousand m³ and the sand adding quantity to the largest quantity of largest quantity of 1344 m³; the highest time efficiency was also achieved by completing 26 segments within 10 days, with the most plug-drillings of 25.

The well’s success of fracture testing has rendered valuable experience for the follow-up fracture gas testing of the ultra-long horizontal well in Jiaoshiba Block. This success has also enhanced the support capability for fracture testing construction and greatly increased people’s confidence in accomplishing the production and building tasks of Phase I.
